Children grades K-6 will learn about missions, missionaries, and other cultures. The children have been involved in many mission projects to including Operation Christmas Child, Hearts for Kids, and supporting local ministries. Since most mission groups have age limits, the Mission Explorers do a lot of prepratory work for other mission groups.

Church designed for the children. During the 11:00am Worship Service, the children ages K–4^th grade are dismissed for Children's Church, which includes a sermon they can relate to.

J4J (Just 4 Jesus) is a ministry by youth and children for all ages. The puppet team performs for groups within the church as well as ministry outside the church. In the past, the team has performed at the West Asheville Library, nursing homes, and other outside ministries. Puppeteers vary in age from 10—18.
