Children's Valentine's Banquet
As a special Thank You to parents and teachers, the children serve a spaghetti dinner for them. It is a fun evening for all. Each year the J4J puppet team perform for the event. This years event was held on February 10, 2008. Read article about the event.
Easter Celebration
Each year we have a special Easter Celebration held on Palm Sunday. We have a retelling-reenactment of the Triumphant Entry. Children, parents, and leaders have lunch together, walk through the reenactment, and have fun together. This year's celebration was held on March 16, 2008 at Noon. Read article about the event.
Spring Performance
The children have two musical / performances a year. The first is in the spring just before the summer break from school. The performance includes the children of the church and the Child Enrichment Center's after school program. This years performance is scheduled for May 21, 2008 at 6:30 PM.
Vacation Bible school
Every summer, we host a VBS for the children of the church and community. It is a fun time of crafts, music, games, snacks and Bible study. This years theme is God's Big Backyard. This years VBS is scheduled for June 22–26, 2008 from6–8:00 PM.
Children's Camp
This is our second year taking the children to a week long camp. This year we are going to Passport Kids in Crossville, TN. The camp is available to children who have completed grades 3-6. This year's camp is scheduled for July 17-20, 2008. Sign–up and fees are due on April 15, 2008.
Children's Day Worship Service
In Spetember we are planning a special worship day with children as the focus. Children will lead in worship.
Fall Festival
Every fall we celebrate the goodness of God with a carnival-type event. This is a multi-generational event with lots of fun for everyone. The event includes games for all ages, as well as a special performance by the J4J puppet team. A great Halloween alternative for families. The event is scheduled for October 29, 2008
Parents Night Out
we know how hard it is for parents to find time to shop for their children for Christmas. Parents Night Out is a chance for the parents to do just that or just get a night out without the children. The event includes snacks, a short film, and games for the children. The event is scheduled for December 5, 2008.
Children's Christmas Performance
The second performance of the year by the children is a celebration of the birth of our Savior. The performance includes the children of the church and the Child Enrichment Center's after school program. This years performance is scheduled for December 10, 2008 at 6:30 PM.
Happy Birthday, Jesus Celebration
During the morning worship service on December 14, 2008 the children will celebrate the birth of Jesus with a birthday party. Cake, games, art, and the Christmas story are just a part of this great celebration.
